Willie Nelson Announces New Concert Film, ‘Long Story Short: Willie Nelson 90’

Last month, Willie Nelson celebrated his 90th birthday over two nights at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles. The milestone occasion ushered in a slew of performances from some of the music industry’s finest. Now, the outlaw country music event has been made into a limited-release movie titled, Long Story Short: Willie Nelson 90, slated to hit theaters on June 11. 

Long Story Short: Willie Nelson 90 presents viewers with highlights from the musician’s birthday celebration on April 29 and 30. The star-studded musical lineup included guests such as Keith Richards, Neil Young, Stephen Stills, Emmy Lou Harris, Bobby Weir, Dave Matthews, Rosanne Cash, Billy Strings, Margo Price and countless others. 

In addition to musical performances, the event boasted on-stage appearances and special tributes provided by Hollywood elites like Woody Harrelson, Owen Wilson, Ethan Hawke, Helen Mirren, Jennifer Garner, Chelsea Handler and more.
