Johnny Cash has two musical offspring (not counting June Carter Cash's daughters from previous marriages): his and June's son John Carter Cash and his daughter Rosanne, from his first marriage to Vivian Liberto. Each carry the Cash flame their own way. Without question, Rosanne whose vision embraces both her dad's musical traditions and a distinct vision of her own, has left a lasting impact over the past three decades.
Cash's early work had a punkish edge, though she began with mainstream country records including a Top Twenty duet with Bobby Bare titled "No Memories Hangin' Round" from her 1979 debut album Right or Wrong. Married to Nashville singer-songwriter Rodney Crowell, she came into her own with the album Seven Year Ache and three 1980 hits from the album: the title track, "Blue Moon with Heartache" and "My Baby Thinks He's A Train," a neo-rockabilly tune written by original Asleep at the Wheel member Leroy Preston (the Wheel recorded it couple years earlier).
