OLSOM, CA - Forty-four years after her dad's famous performance at Old Folsom prison, Rosanne Cash played her own Folsom Prison concert Monday.
Cash played a few of her father's songs, including the prisoners' lament "I got stripes," along with a few of her own tunes, during a performance before a crowd of several dozen inmates.
At the end of the concert she played backup to a band made up of prison inmates. "I did some songs, they did some songs, they were beautiful," she said. "It was quite an amazing experience."
