Dear friends and visitors,

WOW, it’s been so long since I wrote the last Mrs. L’s monthly! So much has happened, and so much IS happening.

First the big news: my memoir, Composed, will be published by Viking on August 10th, 2010. That’s this year. That’s next month.

OMG, as the texters say.

I spent a decade writing this book. Sometimes I thought I would never finish it because stuff kept happening;  birth, death, records, songs, tours, brain surgery… but it’s all in the book. I hope you enjoy it. Be forewarned there is no score settling. There is no airing of grievances. There is no dirt dishing. And yet, I still think it’s good.

The second big news? You’re looking at it! We are in the midst of a total revamp, renew, renovate, restyle, re-mix, re-plate, re-construction of my website. The web pixies at Flyleaf Creative are doing a bang-up job and you are looking at phase one. Check back for exciting developments. I certainly will.

I’m touring this summer, for both concerts and the book, and you can find all the appearances here. I think they are trying to kill me with this schedule to get those great posthumous sales. Just kidding. I hope.
