December 11, 2007—New York, NY: After undergoing brain surgery on November 27th at New York’s Presbyterian Hospital, singer/songwriter/author Rosanne Cash is currently recovering comfortably at her home in New York City. The surgery, to correct a structural problem caused by a rare but benign condition—Chiari 1 Malformation, was successful and she is expected to make a full recovery. Ms. Cash will resume recording of her debut album for Manhattan Records in early 2008. She will also resume her live performance schedule in the spring and complete a new book to be published by Viking in early 2009.


December 4, 2007: Rosanne is back home recovering comfortably from her surgery, which took place on November 27. She extends thanks and appreciation for all the love, good wishes, prayers and kindness.

November 6, 2007, New York, NY: Currently touring in support of her critically-acclaimed and Grammy-nominated “Black Cadillac” album, singer/songwriter/author Rosanne Cash has announced that she will cancel her four remaining concerts this year in order to undergo brain surgery at New York Presbyterian Hospital for a rare but benign condition   Rosanne is expected to make a full recovery and will return to the studio to complete the recording of her debut for Manhattan Records.  Ms. Cash will also resume her live performance schedule in the spring and will complete a new book to be published by Viking in early 2009.
