Unadorned performance lets Rosanne Cash bare songs’ truths

An intuitive songwriter knows how to let a song be. Rosanne Cash, accompanied only by her co-writer, producer and husband John Leventhal, mined gold with that secret last night in the Schottenstein Theatre in New Albany’s McCoy Center. The pair, armed only with acoustic guitars, spent a leisurely 90 minutes allowing 19 songs to blossom with the admiration and trust they might bestow a child leaving home.
